Description
Hawks (Hiking Adventures With Kids) runs outdoor after-school programs and day camps for children in the Lake Norman area. Our Explorers hike through Piedmont forests at locations like Latta Nature Preserve, explore creek corridors along local greenways, and discover the wildlife and native plants of north Mecklenburg County. Along the way, they learn trail safety, Leave No Trace principles, and what it feels like to be genuinely curious about the world outside their front door.
